Klone – Le Grande Voyage

Working on learning new skills with DaVinci Resolve video editor I decided to go for some background music from Spotify again. Going through my list of artists I noted I saved a band called Klone some time in the past. I recalled I listened to one of their album quite often but could not remember its mood.

Press play and … suddenly I dreamed away. Delightful slow tempo atmospheric rock is a cure for your ear and brain.

Callisto – Secret Youth

It’s the third time I’m listening to this album today coming back to it after few months so this is an indicator I really dug out something to mention. I’ve known Callisto (from Finland) for some time, the first album I heard was Latter Day which is awesome by the way with its chamber atmosphere and darker voices. Secret Youth on the other hand sounds more progressive with more epic passages.

Junius – Reports from the Threshold of Death

If you are true metal-head stop right here! Junius is one of my latest discovery in progressive metal/rock music. The clear high vocals might find my friends irritating but the expression of the music made very good impression on me reminding me Chino Moreno from time to time (check the song “A Reflection on Fire” below). In any case – since the first listening I had this (and the other albums) on repeat tens of time.
