Hunting for Ring of the Wild Hunt? Grinding the world boss leads is the easy part. Lets speed up solo run through normal Elden Hollow I for the “Face of the Serpent” yellow lead!

In this video I’ll provide you through the dungeon giving you some clues in subtitles how not ti lose time and get directly to the last boss. Ring showcase at the end of the video.

The guide is applicable for any build (stamina builds have an advantage). The only things you really need:

  • to run the dungeon on normal mode
  • to be able to kill the three bosses
  • to have some Soul Gems, you are going to die three times! * patience and humility

Lets go through the steps of the guide:

Step 1 – Run through the trash mobs and die

Yes! The purpose of this run is not to kill everything. Just the opposite – kill as few as possible to get to the final boss.

The runs starts by running and rolling through the mobs as close to the first boss Akash gra-Mal as possible. You need to kill it to open the gate to the next part of the dungeon.

TIP 1: Die just before the boss to lose aggro from the mobs and get behind the boss to start the combat. Try not to get attention from anything else but the boss.

Step 2 – Run again and die again

When you kill Akash proceed the dungeon. Do not block or heal any damage. If you manage to die in the tunnel leading to the next boss’s chamber the boss won’t wake up! You need to kill it to open last part of the dungeon.

TIP 2: Die before entering Chokethorns chamber. In that was the boss stay calm and does not fight back nor spawns adds. This might be a bug but it works pretty conveniently.

Step 3 – Get to the final boss and check your luck

No you can run directly to the last boss Canonreeve Oraneth, kill it and if you are lucky you get Face of the Serpent lead which is one of the five leads that reveal Ring of the Wild Hunt

TIP 3: Die before entering the room with the final boss. The mobs won’t follow you there but they stay in combat with you even after you kill the boss.

This might be your reward

Good luck hunting!
