Klone – Le Grande Voyage

Album Art Album Art

Working on learning new skills with DaVinci Resolve video editor I decided to go for some background music from Spotify again. Going through my list of artists I noted I saved a band called Klone some time in the past. I recalled I listened to one of their album quite often but could not remember its mood.

Press play and … suddenly I dreamed away. Delightful slow tempo atmospheric rock is a cure for your ear and brain.

Starting with Yonder I dive deep into the rythm of the conceptual album. The vibes do not change much during the play which can someone find little boring but not me. I enjoy the solidity of all songs and to be honest one don’t really perceive when the last song ended and the current one started.

If I’m not wrong someone might say the singer’s voice is little similar to Chris Cornell’s (Soundgarden, Audioslave…) but for some reason I find it more pleasant to listen (however I appreciate Chris’s capabilities).

With Alcest this is definitely one of my favorite French rock/metal bands and I would love to visit their concert if any takes place nearby.

Long story short here is an example of Klone’s music:

If you are looking for party music or tracks full of raw energy remove two whirpools but for me it’s the perfect attitude music I’ll gladly go back for:
