As Ikoria and Commander 2020 are coming out with some new and old cycling card and bringing back the Fluctuator I decided to think again about my own builds with this fabulous card. Take it as an another example of a rogue deck for Legacy that might as well bring fun and rage to you or your opponents.
I’m bringing the deck in two versions:
First version is more straight forward and required cycle through the deck for one specific combo (Songs of the Damned + Banefire) to kill opponent or my money back:
MtG > Legacy > Shadow of Fluctuator
The other version plays more with creatures and Living Death and can spread the kill into more turns. It doesn’t need to cycle the whole deck just enough to kill the opponent. And if something goes wrong there is a good change you would be able to repeat the combo again:
MtG > Legacy > Death by Fluctuator
